A VERY Small Setback

So I knew that today would be a little disappointing. My cravings for fast food were horrible this last week. I couldn't get over the feeling, that I had to have some french fries. And I kept telling myself, oh only a few will be ok. But a few adds up. So I wasn't surprised to not see the scale move much this week. I was 156.6lbs last week, and 157lbs this week, but it's a VERY small set back and it's not going to get me down at all. I am still very excited about my weight loss and this week is a new week.

Highest Weight - 171lbs
Starting Weight - 165lbs
Current Weight - 12/12/08 - 157lbs
Weight Loss - 8lbs

That scale better be ready for next week!

You'll do great next week since you satisfied your craving for those French Fries this week, Lisa! I don't blame ya---sometimes ya just gotta have some fries!

Thats why diets suck if you run off track nothing works out! But you can't not treat yourself after all the hard work! Hang in there atleast it's only 1 lb! I'm gonna start as soon as brandon heads out that way I can try and get to what I want by the time he gets back!

I am the other Lisa Jamison. I have much more weight to lose than you. But you would be amazed at what a difference one little thing has made for me. Last December 31st, I popped the last french fry into my mouth from my lunch and told my 15 year old son, "That's the last fry I am ever going to eat." I gave them up. I lost 10 lbs in the last year and I haven't done anything different other than giving up fries. I am wondering what I can give up for 2009 and lose 10 more pounds. After a few months - the smell no longer gave me cravings, it made me nauseous.
